We are award-winning and experienced professionals who are passionate about building and designing with concrete. Founded in 2005, we successfully serve Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Delaware, and surrounding areas. We serve commercial and residential customers in both new and existing construction. Our services include design consultation, specialty concrete solutions, installation, custom decorative concrete construction, and architectural precast concrete.
By working with architects, designers, and homeowners, Hyde develops finished pieces that not just meet, but consistently exceed expectations.
We are members of several professional organizations, hold numerous certifications and are continuously pushing the envelope of what is possible with concrete. From project inception to owner turnover, we work with architects, engineers, designers, owners, and general contractors to raise the bar for concrete solutions. We are trained estimators, effective project managers, and exceptional applicators in concrete. Our knowledge is increased not only by experience but by continuing education in our field. Greg Hyde Hryniewicz
As a graduate of the US Naval Academy, Greg brings professionalism to all he does. His University of Michigan MBA and previous employment in business strategy allow Greg to best position the company within the concrete industry. However, Greg is not one to hold court behind a desk so you can routinely find him helping produce our quality Hyde products.
He is Board Member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors and former director of the Decorative Concrete Council Advisory Board.
Greg has traveled the globe, visiting more than 70 countries. He enjoys surfing, cooking, mountain biking and sailing. Greg is married with two children. They live in Annapolis with their dog Maua.
John Haines
Passionate about quality and committed to exceeding client expectations, John is our Operations Manager. He brings a wealth of construction management and installation knowledge to our team. His experience in a wide variety of concrete construction including LEED, commercial, residential and pervious, make him the guy to get the job done.
John is an leader in the industry, serving as director on the Concrete Polishing Council Advisory Board of the American Society of Concrete Contractors.
He is equally passionate about his family and the outdoors. Married with two sons, John is an avid fisherman, hiker and camper who is completely at home in the wilderness.
Maddison Habib
Maddison received her degree in Architectural Design at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. She has hands in both the pre-construction and operations departments where she provides detailed material take-offs, competitive estimates, project turnover, and premier customer service in the field.
Maddison lives in Glen Burnie, Maryland with her husband and daughter. They enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors on the Magothy River, and exploring downtown Baltimore.
Paige Blanche
Paige joined the Hyde team in 2019. She received her bachelors degree from West Virginia University, where she studied Design Studies and minored in Business Administration.
A native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Paige now calls Annapolis her home. She enjoys spending time on the water with her dog Morgan.
Architectural Precast Division
Precast concrete estimates and proposals are managed and professionally handcrafted in our Hyde Precast Concrete Shop located in Halethorpe, Maryland.

K9 Office Assistant
Maua has paw-fect footsteps to follow, her sister Asha was the first K9 Office Assistant at Hyde and trained her well. She is currently working on her concrete paw-lishing skills and is busy helping Nick create a modern paw print design for our Hyde Outdoor Kitchens. Born in the summer of 2023, her primary duty includes: stress relief.

Greg Hryniewicz, owner of Hyde Company, is a steward of the environment. He volunteers on the Environmental Committee at EYC to help clean the Chesapeake Bay. What better way to clean the bay than to make Concrete Oyster Triangles that provide safe environments for oysters to grow. One acre of oysters can filter 24 million gallons of water daily!
Hyde Supports the Fight to Cure MS
cornhole CRUSH to fight multiple Sclerosis
Maddison Habib, a project manager with Hyde, co-created a Cornhole Tournament (substituted by a Ruck Race in 2020) to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The tournament is a way to raise money to fund services and research in the fight against MS. Maddison and her Cornhole Crush group also use the fundraiser to raise awareness about this devastating disease.
Empowering Athletes of the Special Olympics
Plunge to support Special Olympics, MD
Hyde and Stevenson Concrete raised money by plunging into the Chesapeake Bay. The team was literally Freezing with Excitement after the 2023 Polar Bear Plunge. The team has finally warmed up but will accept donations for a future plunge. Will the Puerto Rican partner stay under the cold water for three minutes again in 2024!? Two Tradeshows and a Grill Station
THE CASCADE OUTDOOR KITCHEN ISLAND garnered a great crowd at two tradeshows in early 2023. We featured our 8-foot precast concrete island, Kebony hardwood façade, and stainless steel appliances at the Mid Atlantic Nursery Trade Show in Baltimore, MD and at the NJASLA show in Atlantic City. If you weren’t able to stop by and see the NOVO grill and accessories installed, make sure to join us at our Open House on April 20, 2023 from 4-8 pm at our workshop in Halethorpe, MD. See our 8-foot and 12-foot islands, fire pit tables, and other Hyde Lifestyle Products while networking and enjoying live music, food and beverage!

Hyde Raised $3,718
THREE MINUTES! Greg stayed in the icy Chesapeake Bay up to his neck on February 3, 2023 for three minutes to help raise almost $4,000 for the Polar Bear Plunge benefiting the Special Olympics of Southern Maryland (SOMD). The Hyde and Stevenson Concrete team prepped by chatting with first responder Heroes and SOMD Super Plungers. But nothing could prepare them for the 41° in water excitement and tingling limbs upon exiting the water to the 28° land temp with 25-40 gust knot windspeed on the cold wet beach in Annapolis, MD.
Maddison is very proud of her teammates. As captain, she brought the plunge idea as an office team building activity and way to give back to the community. Hyde Company first plunged as a team in 2022 on a beautiful 60° day on the Chesapeake Bay. In 2022, Greg raised $1,000 and stayed in for one minute. Inspired by the SOMD Athletes and their stories, the tropical island raised, former Naval officer upped the ante for 2023. A week before the event, Greg emailed buddies around the world reminding them of his Puerto Rican roots and his plan to spend one minute in the water for every $1,000 raised. “The Plunge is for a great cause, and I’m willing to put myself through some physical effort to support!” said Greg. click to view video
