2018 Decorative Concrete Council - First Place: Polished | Over 5000 sf
This award-winning polished concrete installation serves a 20,000 square foot coworking facility in downtown Arlington, Virginia. TechSpace features over 50 private offices, 200 workstations, conference rooms, kitchen, and lounge areas.
Polished concrete was chosen for its durability and LEED-friendly properties in the common corridors. To complement the collaborative workspace design, five colored stained lines were incorporated into the floor. These decorative lines originate in the elevator lobby and weave throughout the corridors, creating visual connections between spaces.
